I Was Home for Christmas

On December 20th, 2010 I boarded a couple planes, slept through a few flights and found myself back in my native territory of Iowa. My mom and little brother picked my older brother, sister-in-law and I up from the airport and whisked us home. I was over-joyed to reunite with my family. We spent the next seven days eating, playing games, talking (95% about food - what food to eat, where to buy said food, how to prepare food, and what food does to our bodies after consuming) and visiting our extended family in Kansas.

I finally schlepped back to Vermont a week later with 90 lbs of luggage in tow. Next Sunday I am moving into my very own apartment! Merry Christmas!

  1. How much fun did we have?! Tons! How much food did we eat? Tons! But it was all sooo good! A very memorable Christmas in your Iowa indeed. Love you...missing you. Mom

  2. I think your pictures are so fantastic! it's fun to see all the food. It's also comforting to see other families eat and talk about food 95% of the time they are together.

  3. Now Kelsey, if only you hurried up and took some cookies to that hott mechanic, I'm sure you would have a buddy in that family brothers and significant other's photo. haha. So good to see your face even if only in pictures. Dave gave me a moose picture frame so I'm going to put a picture of some ice cream eating fools in it!
